The actors have been given permission to put their own spin on things, which has allowed them to add their own unique touches to the play.

This is the second new work that Lexington High School has produced, and the interaction and interest from the playwright, Martin VanBuren III, has been incredibly validating for the students. Martin has been directly involved with the production, including creating a revised version of the show for high school performances.

Normally, playwrights and publishers are reluctant to allow schools to make changes to their scripts, but this time, the playwright is changing things just for schools.
