Licensing a Production

I'm here to help, if you need it.

I've worked on a lot of shows and with a lot of directors, so I know the approach to the writer-director relationship is very split. If you have any questions, or are looking for insight, or would just like to toss ideas back and forth, I'm here for it. If you'd prefer I have no involvement, that's also totally ok! I can be as involved, or invisible, as you'd like.

If you've browsed through the collection of shows and would like to move forward with licensing a play, you just need to read through some information below + submit a request.

"We'd like to produce one of your shows, now what do we do?"

Once you submit your licensing request (by clicking the button below) you'll receive a contract. After the contract is signed by everyone, and the invoice is paid, the show is all yours to produce!

"How much does it cost to license a show, and what is the process?"

CONTRACT INFO

You have full rights to market the show in any way you desire. I only ask that you put a folder together for me that includes any promotional posters, photos, videos, artwork, sound clips, etc. that I can show off :)

Social media & marketing

Production photos should be taken during one of the final dress rehearsals. A video recording of one of the live-performances is also required. These materials I put online (for free) for every production.

Can we cut a show down to be a one-act?

Are there school-appropriate versions?

How do we pay the invoice?

Can we LIVE-stream a show?

Absolutely. Fun fact: the world-premiere of Aisle 6 happened right at a small school in Lexington, Texas. Lines were altered or cut altogether. You're also welcome to just edit the show in rehearsal as you see fit for your cost and audience.
